Compost 101: Jax Earth Week
April 17, 2022 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 am
Jax is celebrating Earth Week with Compost Queen and the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program.
Stop by Jax Outdoor Gear & Ranch on North College in Fort Collins for a meet and great with some of the beautiful birds before or after our Compost 101, where we’ll teach you all about home composting!
Food scraps represent about 23% of home waste that is rapidly filling up our Larimer County landfill. Organics recycling (aka Composting) can make a huge dent in waste management, carbon sequestration and nutrient recovery in our local soils.
Bring your notebook and questions, we’ll be following up our “Bring Your Own Device” presentation with a question and answer session.
